SPALDING PARK DRESS CODES

  • Dress standards are designed to support and enhance an appropriate level of presentation within the Club.
  • All members and visitors are requested to adhere to the Club's Dress Code of the day.
  • Persons not correctly attired may be prevented from entering onto the golf course, or may be refused service in the clubhouse.
  • Members and visitors are to be neatly dressed at all times
  • It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure their guests are correctly attired. Please advise your guests of the dress code before they attend the club.
  • The General Manager maintains flexibility to alter the dress rules on special occasions.
  • Private functions held at the club, where members attend, are excluded from this code.

DRESS STANDARD ON THE COURSE

Acceptable Attire - Men

  • Shorts and trousers must be of a tailored style and shorts must be of a reasonable length.
  • Collared Shirts must be worn.
  • Enclosed flat soled shoes and socks are to be worn but regulation non steel spike golf shoes are preferred.

Acceptable Attire – Women

  • Shorts, trousers and skirts must be of a tailored style.
  • Ladies shirts must be designed as golf wear but may be sleeveless or collarless.
  • Enclosed flat soled shoes and socks are to be worn but regulation non steel spike golf shoes are preferred.

DRESS STANDARD IN THE CLUBHOUSE

  • Dress in the clubhouse must be smart casual at all times, except when otherwise determined or announced by the General Manager.
  • Collared Shirts must be worn.
  • Shorts and trousers must be of a tailored style and shorts must be of a reasonable length.
  • Footwear should be neat, clean and tidy at all times. Closed in shoes and leather sandals are preferred. Rubber thongs are prohibited.

DRESS STANDARD NOT PERMITTED ON THE COURSE OR IN CLUB HOUSE

  • Shorts or Trousers with elasticised or draw string waist. (Trousers must not be rolled up or tucked into socks or made from tracksuit material).
  • Football shorts, stubbies or beach style shirts, shorts and trousers.
  • Tee-Shirts, singlet tops or sleeveless shirts.
  • Sandals and Thongs are not permitted on the Course or Practice Areas.
  • Hats are not to be worn in the Clubhouse
  • Any article of clothing showing offensive content.

 

**ANYONE NOT ADHERING TO THIS CODE OF DRESS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES AND MAY RETURN ONCE SUITABLY ATTIRED
